How Early Should You Buy a Flower Girl Dress??

I am kidding, you wouldn't trust me anyways as I design flower girl dresses :) But! Once you know that you are having a flower girl(s) and their age/size you can start looking for the right dress and feel comfortable purchasing it. 

Planning a wedding can really happen in any timeline. Where some engaged couples give themselves years to plan other do it in weeks. So I won't give an exact time, as it can very. Recommended Timeline for buying a Flower Girl Dress:

1. First thing to buy is the wedding dress(es) or couples formal attire -  dresses from a wedding boutique can take 8-10 months to arrive, so be sure to give yourself enough time. Select a venue. 

2. It is recommended to buy bridesmaid dresses around 6 months before your big day

3. At 3-5 months before the wedding it is a good time to confirm suits or tuxes

4. Once you have decided on the wedding dress(es) and a venue, you can really buy a flower girl dress at anytime. By selecting the wedding dress and venue, you will have a better idea of the flower girl dress that will fit the theme. Typically recommended between 2-3 months before the event, but we have orders come in days before the event. 

I get asked when you should buy flower girl dresses all the time. Girls grow fast and it seems that during wedding season and the spring month kids grow the most. I completely understand this query, you want to get the right fit, but have no idea how much room you need to grow. Now the good news is that the majority of our dresses are stretchy and provide a good inch for growth. But still occasionally there is still a need for a new dress.  

Brides are often use to traditional formal and wedding wear in which you only get one chance. You buy a dress and you are stuck with it if it doesn't fit in 5 months you have to start the whole process again and are out the money you already spent. This is the first problem I identified in the industry and decided to change!

We just want you to be happy with the dress(es). If the flower girl grows between now and the wedding date, you can easily exchange it, just contact us directly for the exchange. 

Reasons you might want to exchange the dress:

• Doesn't fit or no longer fits
• Wedding colors have changed
• Wedding style has changed
• Whites/ivories no longer match
• Fell in love with a new dress/style

So don't leave the flower girl dress to the last minute. Purchase your dress in a stress free and no pressure environment. Check the return and exchange policy wherever you end up purchasing your dress and happily cross one more thing off your busy wedding to do list. 

*A little fine print! We only exchange dresses that have not been worn, washed, or damaged and still have the original tags on them. Also final sale dresses ressare not eligible for exchange. If your dress meets these conditions great, try to remember that when we resell the dress we want our next customer to have the same great experience you had. We do steam and inspect every dress that is exchanged and again when they are sold. No one wants to be taken advantage of, please respect the rules so we can continue offering this great service to our customers. Our dresses with tags purchased from any of our retailers are eligible for exchange just contact us directly and don't try and go through the store.
