Vintage Glam - Wedding Color Inspiration

Pour a glass of your favorite vino and enjoy this rich palette that pairs two of our most popular colors of rose gold and wine with a cleansing cream base.⠀ ⠀

This look is all about glamorous luxury. Think 1920 Gatsby meets 2021 sensibility. While it features lots of glitter, texture, and sequins the most important part of this look is the cream that grounds it and gives the wine and rose lots of space to play.

To Get this Look

  • This palette brings the drama and class to any affair. Normally I like to balance rich colors with simple accessories, but with this style I like to go all out with larger statement jewelry (I find small delicate pieces get easily lost here).
  • If you are looking for an additional neutral consider a pewter-beige for men's suits as the rest of the colors can be hard to find.
  • There is a lot of texture in this look, but don't be afraid to layer fabric and accessories together.
  • I like it when bridesmaids and groomsmen can help make the outfit and color decisions (that is why I like a color palette as it gives more options). Consider your members preferences and natural tones, this style includes lots of pinks and reds and certain shades will look better than others.

Avoid

  • Every rule is made to be broken, but I never like to go to full on a theme (I do love a color palette), give nods to the past, but keep everything timeless whenever possible.
  • They weren't afraid of make-up in the 1920, but the trend was to make very thin brows and lips. I think we have learned a lot over the years, so be sure to keep your modern looks tricks that highlight your natural beauty.
  • Be sensitive to over crowding. When an outfit gets too busy the cream will be your best friend to provide balance.

Flower Girl Dress Guide

Our Rose Gold Sequin Bodysuit is the perfect foundation for our Vintage Glam look. I especially love our sequin bodysuits as you can pair them with a wine Gia skirt for drama or cream Farrah skirt for a light and airy feel. I designed our kids sequin bodysuits with a full zipper back and the softest stretchy lining. But the key to this design is the tulle layer over the sequins to give the most comfortable fit. Available in sizes 3 months - 12 years.

It also makes the cutest MOMMY & ME outfit for photoshoots or special events with our Women's Petal Skirt in Wine and our Rose Gold Sequin Top.

Our Signature Lace Bodysuit in Wine matched with our Wine Gia Skirt is so rich with color and texture! Our signature lace bodysuit has the most gorgeous back detail (perfect for walking down the aisle) and our Gia skirts features 6 layers of fluffy soft tulle with a satin lining and completely hidden waistband. I designed it to look exactly like a dress on. But you can keep it modern with a two-piece look, or we can sew it together into a beautiful dress for a lasting impression- the choice is up to you!

Make a statement with MIX & MATCH flower girl dresses. Let the girls pick their dress color while you pick the style. Choose the exact same dress or similar elements like lace and tulle to complement the look and bring it together. Or pick a color - get us to match the dye lot - and create unique look for each girl.
